SJAFB Airmen become SERE Augmentees
A group of survival, evasion, resistance and escape augmentees from the 4th Fighter Wing attend a North Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team briefing led by Alex Auten, NC Emergency Management multi-hazard field planner, before observing a training exercise, July 20, 2017, at the NC State Highway Patrol Precision Driver's Training Facility, Raleigh, North Carolina. In order to become a SERE augmentee, the Airmen need to pass the SERE physical ability and stamina test, a water survival training course as well as a combat survival training course.
