Chief Master Sergeant Blake A. Malpass is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. He is the principal senior enlisted advisor to the commander on matters affecting mission readiness through morale, quality of life, utilization, health and welfare of the wing's 3,900 enlisted members. Chief Malpass coordinates with staff agencies, commanders and senior enlisted personnel on matters of administration and implementation of wing policy. He observes all facets of the work, social and living environments of the enlisted force and meets regularly with private and professional organizations and committees as specified and directed by the commander.

Chief Malpass calls North Carolina home and entered the Air Force from there in June 1984. Prior to assuming his current position in June 2010, He was the 515th Air Mobility Operations Group Superintendent, Yokota Air Force Base, Japan.
