Xchange Barbershop
DeWayne Miller cuts Airman 1st Class Nathan Slagle hair to military standards at the Xchange Barbershop on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Jan. 4, 2011. According to AFI 36-2903, hair will not exceed one and a quarter inches in bulk, regardless of length, and allows only closely cut or shaved hair on the back of the neck to touch the collar. Miller hails from Goldsboro, N.C. and is a barber. Slagle is a 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron munitions flight and a native of Vancouver, Wash.
