SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 4th Fighter Wing will host an operational readiness exercise June 7-9.
The objective of this ORE is for every participating unit to receive an overall SATISFACTORY grade. This establishes the foundation the wing requires to be successful in the following OREs due to the large number of personnel moves during the summer cycle.
The July, August and September OREs will then be used as a second set of inspections with the new personnel in-place to refine and improve the wing prior to the October Phase I operational readiness inspections.
Goals for deployment processing:
· Resolve 95 percent of deployment assistance visit team observations by the end of May.
· Establish back-up plans for cargo movement operations system and logistics module failures.
· Run table top exercises to improve baseline deployment schedule of events development efficiency and communication with the unit deployment managers.
· Once this is accomplished, then validate contingency plans during system failures.
o Personnel processing: Maximum of seven disqualifications, none for deployment availability codes. Following Names In System and completion of medical review, zero augmentees pulled from duties to process as deployers unless there are no other personnel who can fill the tasked unit tasking code.
o Cargo suitability: Have 80 percent of cargo arriving at the central deployment function will not require any type of corrections for proper identification, packing, marking or documentation. There will be zero HAZMAT, weapons or classified courier discrepancies.
o Load and safety timing: Maximum of two late and one rejected chalks. No late chalks due to increment monitors not being with pallets or having incorrect paperwork. No cargo with leaking, unidentified or improperly labeled hazardous material.
o Deployment control center: Establish realistic DSOE for all chalks by reference start time plus 18 hours. Identify all classified and weapons couriers in DSOE.
Goal for information operations
· Achieve a 100 percent approved anti-virus software on all information systems and networks.
