CMSAF, Team Seymour welcome newest ALS graduates

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Members of Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James C. Binnicker Airman Leadership School class 14-G completed their first professional military education milestone Oct. 9 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. 

48 Airmen fulfilled their requirements for graduation and received certificates of completion during a ceremony at Heritage Hall. Five members of the class were also recognized with individual awards.

Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James Cody was also on hand as the guest speaker of the event. He joined 4th Fighter Wing senior leaders to present certificates of competition to each graduate and the individual awards to the class's superior performers.

Senior Airman William Harris, a member of the 4th Communications Squadron, received the John L. Levitow Award. The award is the highest presented at all levels of enlisted professional military education and is given to the top graduate in the class. The recipient of this award has not only excelled academically, but also exemplifies the highest standards of a professional military member.

Senior Airman Corey Brooks, a member of the 4th Fighter Wing, received the Academic Achievement Award. This award is presented to the student who has demonstrated dedication to the core value of "Excellence in All We Do" and has achieved the highest overall academic score.

Senior Airman Amber Coley, a member of the 4th Medical Operations Squadron, received the Commandant Award. This award is presented to the student who consistently displays exemplary military professionalism and promotes teamwork.

The following Airmen were the distinguished graduates of the class. These students were outstanding in objective and performance evaluations, demonstrated leadership, had superior performances as team players, and finished in the top 10 percent of the class:
