EO Holds Information Fairs

The 4th Fighter Wing Equal Opportunity has scheduled several information fairs for this quarter.

On April 23, 2013, Rhonda Christie, director of Equal Opportunity and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program manager, kicked off the first information fair at the Customer Support Center here.

The information fair is designed to interact with base personnel and to highlight awareness of the following programs:
  • Human Relations Education with emphasis on positive workplace relationships through teambuilding, effective communication, professionalism, and roles and responsibilities
  • First Term Airmen and New Employee Orientation
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Unit Climate Assessments
  • Active Duty Military Complaint Processing and Appeals
  • Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity Complaint Processing and Appeals
  • Subject Matter Expert assistance and guidance
  • Notice of Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation (NO FEAR) Act of 2002 Compliance
  • Zero Tolerance for Unlawful Discrimination or Harassment. It is the policy of the United States Government, the Department of Defense, and the Air Force not to condone or tolerate unlawful discrimination, to include sexual harassment, of any kind. This Zero Tolerance policy ensures that once unlawful discrimination or sexual harassment is alleged, immediate and appropriate action will be taken to investigate/resolve the allegations and ensure any proven unlawful behavior stops. Further, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any Airman, military or civilian, who engages in unlawful discriminatory practices.
