The most recent 4th Fighter Wing Phase I Operational Readiness Exercise Coronet Warrior 10-6, testing the wing's preparation and mobilization from peacetime readiness into a wartime posture on short notice, wrapped up Sept. 21.

The objective of this ORE is for every participating unit in the wing to receive at least an overall satisfactory grade. Conducting OREs helps those assigned to the wing create the foundation required for success during the upcoming operational readiness inspectionOct. 25-29.

The grading scale for the ORI is based on a five-tier model of outstanding, excellent, satisfactory, marginal and unsatisfactory. To receive an excellent rating, wing personnel must score an excellent in the processing and readiness areas, and another excellent and at least two satisfactory in the command and control, information operations, and the force protection areas.

The final base ORE before the ORI takes place Oct. 4-5.
