Colonel Sean E. Marshall is dual-hatted as the Commander, 4th Medical Group and Military Treatment Facility Director, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC. He is responsible for an executive team and two diverse squadrons consisting of 287 active duty, civilian, and contract personnel and a budget of $32M. The Koritz Clinic offers dental, flight medicine, health plan management, laboratory, mental health, pediatrics, pharmacy, physical therapy, primary care, public health, radiology imaging, referral and medical management, and women’s health services. The clinic ensures the global medical readiness for 10K Airmen in the F-15E Strike Eagle Wing including the Combat Air Force’s (CAF) largest flying program.
Prior to his nomination for his current duties, he was the Chief, Healthcare Operations Support Division, for the Defense Health Agency. Responsible for Healthcare Compliance across the Military Health System for aspects of the delivery of health care to 9.6 million beneficiaries. He oversaw the Organizational Inspection Program for 19 Direct Reporting Markets, Defense Health Agency Regions, Small Stand Alone Organization, and 451 Military Treatment Facilities around the globe.
He earned his Bachelors from Columbia College, Masters in Public Administration from Troy University, Masters in Public Policy and Doctorate in Public Administration from Walden University. He is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He has deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM and Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
