Colonel Brian M. Novchich

Col Brian “Stitch” Novchich is currently the Division Chief of the Combat Air Forces Panel, Headquarters Air Force Plans & Programs.  In this role, he leads a diverse team in developing and implementing the 5-year and 30-year resourcing strategy for all USAF fighter aircraft, Personnel Recovery, Tactical Air Control Party, and conventional munitions, totaling roughly twenty five percent of the annual Air Force budget.  Col Novchich is a Command Pilot with more than 2,500 F-15E flight hours, including 900 combat hours over four tours in Southwest Asia. He was commissioned in May 2003 from the US Air Force Academy. He is also a graduate of USAF Weapons School, has earned Master’s Degrees in Aeronautical Science and Military Operational Art and Science, and graduated the National Defense Fellowship Strategic Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
