Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Fishing club has been formed to work as a network for people to learn to fish, learn where to fish and ultimately meet new friends. We use this club to set up small in house tournaments with one another and sometimes meet up and catch some fish. We are a very relaxed club and at the same time are willing to expand if people are willing. As of now most fish freshwater but we are starting to look into Saltwater. Some of our members have boats and others just fish on the bank. Our club members range from people who have very little experience to people who have fished tournaments so the pool of knowledge is extensive. Our club does not have any dues however; members will be responsible for their own equipment and licenses. Club meetings are held if there is an event coming up we need to plan for and an Email gets sent to let everyone know about the meeting, other than that we like to have our meetings on the lake/river and post our catches on our Facebook page for bragging rights.
POC: Kenneth Kimbrell contact via email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Seymour Johnson Home Brewers Club is a growing community of 73+ people that aspire to learn how to brew different styles of craft beer or make wine. SJ Home Brewers promotes the education and experience in making craft beer from scratch to Airmen at Seymour Johnson AFB. Our club aims to provide at least two events a month, which include a "Brew Day" and possibly a visit to a local brewery! Brew day is your opportunity to see the brewing process first hand from one of our experienced home brewers and talk to other people who have brewed or just curious about the hobby. In addition, visiting local breweries will provide further insight to our members on how a bigger scale operation works, and allow our members to taste some of North Carolina's Best Craft Beers! This gives you an opportunity to venture out of the Goldsboro area and experience some new things!
The purpose of the SJAFB homeschool group is to support military families that have chosen to home school, as well as promote home education in the Goldsboro area.
The group strives to create an atmosphere where each member can relax and openly talk about the blessings, joys, and challenges of homeschooling. The group offers physical education classes, field trips, get togethers, seasonal parties, and homeschool co-op classes.

The Seymour Johnson AFB, Hunting and Archery club offers education opportunities for new hunters (hunting basics, Hunter Safety Course, dress and skin wildlife, etc.), competition for experienced archers and a great opportunity for those who simply want to learn the art of Archery. Also, the club's intent is to share hunting information to help new hunters or younger airman get involved in the community. We have partnered with local civic leaders to expand our "limited" hunting access from here on base, to the eastern region. We are building a foundation with local and regional land owners to gain and maintain a lengthy relationship with them to improve/sustain our professional AF image.
