Housing and lodging:

Temporary Lodging:

Lodging Quarters, at Seymour Johnson's Southern Pines Inn, are available by reservation to personnel traveling on official orders. Reservations should be made in advance and are on a first-come, first serve basis. Reservations can be made by mail, phone, fax, email or through your sponsor. You can visit the website to make reservations and check availability online. Orders are not required to make reservations.

Lodging is also available for families arriving at Seymour Johnson. Additionally, 69 units of temporary lodging facility quarters have kitchen and other conveniences.

In-processing:

Get a "Jump Start":

Seymour Johnson offers Jump Start, a mandatory course to medically in-process Airmen and their families and helps answer any region specific healthcare questions they may have. Military members are required to be in uniform for this briefing. The course is offered every Thursday from 8 to 10 a.m. at Eagles Landing. Those on house hunting are still required to attend their scheduled brief."

Newcomers Orientation:

The Airman and Family Readiness Center's Newcomers Orientation is a mandatory briefing for Airmen who have recently arrived to Seymour Johnson AFB. This briefing is your orientation to the 4th Fighter Wing and the local area. During the briefing attendees will hear from the 4th FW commander and command chief as well as several other helping agencies from the installation. Representatives from Goldsboro will also be in attendance to provide insight on the local area.
