SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Emergency responders from the 4th Fighter Wing and the Goldsboro Police Department responded to an incident at the Berkeley gate today.
The area was evacuated and cordoned off to ensure the safety of the Airmen and civilians in the area. Additionally, base housing residents were instructed to shelter in-place.
Any incident that would pose a threat to our resources is automatically investigated by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the 4th SFS.
The situation has since been resolved; there were no personal injuries and no damage to property.
