F/A-18s assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 115 “Silver Eagles” from Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina, fly in formation alongside a KC-46A Pegasus assigned to the 916th Air Refueling Wing from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, during an aerial refueling operation off the coast of North Carolina following Exercise Razor Talon May 19, 2022. The Silver Eagles were activated on July 1, 1943, and have conducted combat operations during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Global War on Terrorism.
