U.S. Air Force Col. Vann Green, 4th Fighter Wing vice commander, completed his F-15E Strike Eagle "fini flight" here, April 4.

A "fini flight" refers to an aircrew member's final flight in the aircraft assigned to their current base before permanently changing station.

It is an Air Force tradition to have family, friends and Airmen from the wing toast the departing aircrew member and hose them down with water as they debark the aircraft.

Green has served as the 4th FW vice commander since May 2011, and will be the Chief of Strategic Studies Group for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
