U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team members simultaneously hurled their 11-pound M1 rifles with fixed bayonets over and around a stationary drill commander as audience members applauded their precise movements here, Mar. 28.

The drill team visited the base in search of highly motivated, active duty NCOs who can fulfill their mission of ensuring a legacy of Airmen who promote the Air Force mission, protect the standards, perfect the image and preserve the heritage.

Honor Guard applicants must meet time-on-station, height and physical fitness requirements, present a flawless appearance, have the ability to stand for extended periods of time and above all, encompass a profound devotion to duty.
