STUMPY POINT, N.C. -- Representatives from the 4th Fighter Wing Safety office conducted their annual inspection of the Dare County Bomb Range, here Feb. 21.

According to Timothy Edwards, 4th FW ground safety manager, the range is the primary location used for air-to-surface target training on the east coast.

The office representatives' main focus was to ensure range contract employees continue to comply with fire and ground safety measures as well as ensure overall maintenance of the range buildings.
