FSS is Transforming Published Feb. 15, 2013 By 4th Force Support Squadron 4th Force Support Squadron SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- To better meet the needs of Team Seymour within the current fiscal environment, the 4th Force Support Squadron is transforming Heritage Hall into a community event center in lieu of the traditional Air Force club membership program, effective March 31. Heritage Hall will serve as a multi-functional facility with increased opportunities for community events such as parties, wedding receptions and promotions. "This initiative will allow us to focus on our military community and their quality of life while being fiscally responsible," said Col. Brent Moran, 4th Mission Support Group commander. "This community center will provide a relaxed, professional environment where service members, their families and base personnel can come together and enjoy themselves outside of work." Simply Seymour's restaurant will close, but the Kitty Hawk Lounge and barbershop will remain open. Eventually, Eagles Landing will house several other activities for one-stop shopping. Since Heritage Hall will not be a club operation, monthly dues will no longer be charged. Members will have the option of either retaining or cancelling their club credit cards. Results from recent 4th FSS focus groups and surveys contributed to this decision. Despite the upcoming changes, excellent customer service will always remain our focus, said Candace Marriner, 4th FSS marketing director. Heritage Hall is closed for renovations until July 2013; in the meantime, Eagle's Landing serves as the community event center for special functions.
