SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --
Thanksgiving is a time of the year where friends and families get together and give thanks for what they have.
For Airmen without the luxury of spending time with their families during the holidays, leaders at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base provided a Thanksgiving feast at the Southern Eagle Dining Facility, Nov. 22.
Col. Jeannie Leavitt, 4th Fighter Wing commander, along with group commanders, squadron commanders and chiefs carved up turkey with all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings for more than 100 members of the base community. Spouses and children of those serving also attended, giving the event a more family-friendly feel.
