Approximately 20 members of Team Seymour competed in the Combat Fitness Challenge here, Oct. 20.

The competition began with a 50-yard medicine ball run followed by a series of plyometrics workouts incorporated with more than three miles of running, with and without weights.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Brendan Manley-Bryant, 333rd Aircraft Maintenance Unit dedicated crew chief, took first place with a time of 27 minutes, and Airman 1st Class Tyler Copeland, 333rd AMU assistant dedicated crew chief, finished 20 seconds later.

Mike Unden, 4th Force Support Squadron military fitness specialist, along with other fitness center staff, hosted the competition to promote healthy lifestyles and esprit de corps.
