Airmen set sail

Members of Team Seymour gathered at the Olympic pool for the annual build-a-boat competition to contend and cheer for their respective squadrons, Aug. 22.

Teams were given one hour to create a boat from cardboard and duct tape. After the time limit expired, teams raced the length of the pool competing for overall winner, best dressed and best chant.

The 4th Communications Squadron won with a time of 42 seconds, receiving a traveling trophy along with a $150 4th Force Support Squadron gift card. The 916th Air Refueling Wing won best dressed and the 4th FSS won best chant, garnering a $50 FSS gift card to each unit.
