The base veterinary treatment facility offers pet owners an alternative location to receive vaccinations, tests and examines for cats and dogs with the assistance of a veterinarian from the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Dr. Adrian Boe, a veterinarian at the MCAS Cherry Point Veterinary Treatment Facility, commutes between facilities twice a week to provide services to Team Seymour's cats and dogs.

The veterinarian does not see sick or injured animals; however, she can administrate an array of vaccinations including the distemper, rabies and bordetella shots. The staff can also do microchip implantation, nail trimming, ear cleaning and wellness exams to ensure overall health.

The facility's hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; however, these hours are subject to change due to veterinarian shortages. For more information about the Veterinary Treatment Facility or to schedule an appointment, call 919-722-1465.
