Team Seymour member awarded CGOC Scholarship

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Brooke Mayo, daughter of Master Sgt. Ronnie Mayo, was presented with a $500 scholarship from the Company Grade Officer's Council here, June 20.

Grade point average, local community involvement and a one-page advanced education plan essay were the deciding factors in selecting a recipient.

Brooke graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School with a 3.9 GPA and plans to attend Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C., where she will major in secondary education with a concentration in English.
