SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The final event encompassing the 4th Fighter Wing change of command took place here, during a flagship-unveiling ceremony June 1. The Spirit of Goldsboro, F-15E Strike Eagle, now bears the name of U.S. Air Force Col. Jeannie Leavitt and serves as the wing's flagship. Leavitt assumed command of the 4th Fighter Wing during a ceremony earlier in the day becoming the first female to command an Air Force fighter wing.
