Airmen assigned to the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron came together to prepare for an approaching operational readiness exercise here, May 15.

Simulated force protection conditions fluctuated as the Airmen practiced donning and doffing their joint service light-weight integrated suits and gas masks during ability to survive and operate training in a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear environment. They also provided buddy care to a practice dummy.

The purpose of this training was to refresh the Airmen on transitioning from peacetime readiness into a wartime posture.
