SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Florists at the base flower shop, Petals and Blooms, create a variety of flower arrangements on a daily basis.

The flower shop carries more than 15 different types of flowers, including roses, daisies and lilies. On an average day, the florists make more than 15 flower arrangements.

The staff can make special designs for holidays like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas. Orders are available for pick up or delivery on and off base.

The flower shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
