ORE impacts on 4th MSG functions

The following 4th Mission Support Group organization's services will be affected by the upcoming Operational Readiness Exercise which takes place March 5-8.

· The military personnel section career development, force management operations and customer support offices will close for the duration of the ORE. The MPS customer service section will remain open to provide support for ID cards, DEERS and passports.

· The 4th Security Forces Pass and Registration Office will close for the duration of the ORE. Non-emergency restricted area badge and Geneva Convention card issuance will be impacted. Contractor processing and other visitor control center functions will be unaffected. For more information, contact the pass and registration office at 722-0525.

· The child development center and School-Age Program will extend their hours of operation during the exercise. Note that additional fees will be added to weekly bills for those who utilize care during the early opening and late closing hours. Those who use their child's normal hours of care will not be charged the additional child care fees. If additional care is required, beyond the extended hours, Family Child Care home providers may be able to assist. For more information, contact the 4th Force Support Squadron Airman and Family Services Flight at 722-5618. Below are the hours of operation for the two facilities:

 * CDC hours:
March 5 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and March 6-8 from 5:30 a.m. to 6: 30 p.m. If the ORE is canceled early that day the CDC will close at normal hours.
 * SAP hours: March 5 6:30-8 a.m. and 2:45-7 p.m. and March 6-8 from 5:30-8 a.m. and 2:45-7 p.m. If the ORE is canceled during the day the program will close at normal hours.
 
· The flightline kitchen will close March 6 starting at 6 p.m. in support of the Phase II. However, the dining facility will remain open and will begin 24-hour operations once the flight kitchen closes.

· Fitness improvement training classes will be cancelled March 5-8 to allow for maximum participation during the ORE.

· The 4th Civil Engineer Customer Support function will remain open for all service calls; however, there may be delays in response times to "routine" and "urgent" work calls. "emergency" work calls will be prioritized and responded to as appropriate. For more information, call 722-5139.

· The 4th Communications Squadron support to customers will be impacted during the ORE. For more information, call the Communications Focal Point at 722-2666.

Below are the types of services offered during the ORE:

* Client Support Center:
· In and out processing - March 5 and 7 from 8 a.m. to noon.
· Blackberry support for Tier 1 customers only (O-6s and above and the command chief).
· IT management - DRMO and issue of equipment by telephone appointment only at 722-1923.
· All "high" priority trouble tickets will continue to be worked.
*Land Mobile Radio Support:
· Public address support will be limited.
· Full setup only for the wing commander.
· Self-help for all requests.
*Network Operations/Infrastructure:
· All trouble tickets meeting the threshold for "high" priority will be worked.

In addition, due to heightened exercise Force Protection Condition measures, personnel may experience longer than normal delays when entering and leaving the installation and various facilities around it.
