SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 4th Fighter Wing library staff hosted a "Meet the Author" event featuring Tommy Hays here, Feb. 8. During the event, Hays discussed his book "The Pleasure Was Mine," answered questions from the audience and then signed books.

The book "The Pleasure Was Mine" is about a man who puts his wife in a nursing home because of her Alzheimers and the impact on his relationship with his son and grandson. This book is also part of the Wayne County Reads program.
