New driving rules Published Feb. 7, 2012 By 4th Security Forces Squadron SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- -- The 4th Fighter Wing has officially published Seymour Johnson Instruction 31-218, Motor Vehicle Traffic Supervision and Traffic Code. All personnel who operate motor vehicles on or off base should carefully review this instruction through the Air Force e-publishing website at www.e-publishing.af.mil/shared/media/epubs/SEYMOURJOHNSONAFBI31-218.pdf. With the official publication of this instruction the 4th Security Forces Squadron will begin implementation of the new procedures. Beginning March 1, violations of seatbelt use, speeding in base housing and cell phone use without a hands free device will result in security forces personnel issuing driving suspension letters in conjunction with a normal citation.
