Get your taxes back for free Published Jan. 27, 2012 By 4th Fighter Wing Legal Office SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Everybody wants to get their money. The 4th Fighter Wing legal team and volunteers throughout the base want to help you file your taxes for free. This year Airmen and dependents can use their unit tax advisor to file their taxes. Unit tax advisors work out of their duty sections maximize efficiency and minimize an Airmen's time away from their primary duties. Unit first sergeants can provide Airmen with the name of their tax representative. The base tax center, located in the legal office, is only open to retirees and Department of Defense civilians. The tax center is open Feb. 1 until April 13. Representatives will help customers by appointment only. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 8-11:15 a.m. and 1-2:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call the base legal office at 919-722-5322.
