4 MDG captures 10 MAJCOM Awards!

The Strike Eagle medics of the 4th Medical Group (MDG) were recognized as the best in Major Command for 2011 in nearly all clinical categories, after receiving an astounding ten Air Combat Command (ACC) level awards in a single year. This is the most the 4 MDG has ever won in a single year, becoming the most awarded clinic of nine others within ACC.

The Strike Eagle medics repeated wins for the second straight year in 2 categories:
  • Best Ambulatory Clinic Patient Safety Program: 4 MDG
  • Best Small Dental Clinic of the Year: 4 MDG
  • Biomedical Clinician Category I CGO of the Year: Capt. Jordan Richardson
Other awards include:
  • Biomedical Service Corps Category 1 Team of the Year: 4 MDG
  • Biomedical Specialist Civilian of the Year: Mr. Philip Brown
  • Outstanding Medical Material noncommissioned officer (NCO) of the Year: Tech. Sgt Kimberly Walker
  • Outstanding Aerospace Medicine NCO of the Year: Master Sgt. Nina Anderson
  • Advanced Practice Nurse Award: Maj. Kimberly Hopkins
  • Outstanding Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award: Lt. Col. Treesa Salter
  • The Chief of Medical Staff Commitment to Excellence Award: Lt. Col. Christopher Hayes
The above teams and individual winners will go on to compete at the Air Force level.
