The Top III and the Chiefs Group donated an X-Box 360 and several games for the system to the Solid Rock Café Feb. 3.

The café, located in the same building as the Southern Eagle Dining Facility, is place for Airmen to relax, meet with friends and enjoy free entertainment.

The SRC has a gaming room with three 32-inch screens where the XBOX 360 will be networked. In addition, there are four 50-inch HDTVs with access to DirecTV. There are also computers with Internet access, WI-FI, pool, ping-pong, foosball, air hockey tables and movies.

The chapel staff manages the SRC, but it is not a religion based organization. The café is a base-wide operation and non-chapel volunteers are stepping forward to help man it. Anyone interested in volunteering at the SRC should have their supervisor send a recommendation to their first sergeant. Their first sergeant will forward the request to the chapel.

The SRC is open Monday through Thursday from 5:30-9 p.m., Friday from 5:30-11 p.m. and Sundays from 1-7:30 p.m.

For more information about the SRC, contact Chaplain (Capt.) Thomas Baize at 722-0315.
