Tammie Moore 4th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 4th Fighter Wing will open its gates to the general public on April 16-17 for a two-day community appreciation open house, the Wings Over Wayne Air Show. The free event will feature performances by the Air Force's premier aerial demonstration team, the Thunderbirds. There will be ample opportunities for guests to meet members of the 4th FW and 916th Air Refueling Wing, view a wide variety of military and civilian aircraft and watch aerial demonstrations. Refreshments and souvenirs will be available for purchase. There will also be a number of activities for children to participate in, some free and others at a small cost.
