SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The base community came out in full force despite the cold weather to watch the lighting of the Seymour Johnson Christmas tree and to meet with the event's special guest, Santa Claus, Dec. 6.

The night's festivities included entertainment by the Singing Stripes, local elementary students, a martial arts demonstration, and a song and dance performance by children from the Youth Center. In addition, there was a variety of vendors selling everything from holiday crafts to drinks and snacks.
