TOPS IN BLUE to entertain SJ community

NEW LOCATION FOR TOPS IN BLUE

TOPS IN BLUE, the premier entertainment showcase of the U. S. Air Force will perform a free musical production, Nov. 11 at the Paramount Theater, downtown Goldsboro. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Active duty will have priority entrance to the show and are encouraged to bring their military identification cards. Additional seating is available to the public.

The theme of this year's performance is "We Believe," a celebration of the ideals Americans believe in and strive for throughout their lives. These ideals include the magic of love and the strength of family, the ability each person has to change things for the better, and the hope that gives everyone for the future. Most of all, it includes a belief in the freedoms Americans enjoy in this nation and the opportunities to pursue individual dreams.

The TOPS IN BLUE team entertains audiences worldwide, with music and fun for the entire family. The show features dazzling lights, beautiful costumes and precision choreography the things TOPS IN BLUE is known for around the world, and this year's show is no exception.

The show will include the cool R&B music of Stevie Wonder, the swingin' sounds of Michael Buble, Montgomery Gentry's all-American country music, hits by Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas, and much more.

TOPS IN BLUE 2010 keeps 57 years of touring tradition alive by visiting all bases throughout the United States and more than 25 foreign countries. Their aggressive tour schedule spans more than 120 locations and also includes entertaining troops stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Southwest Asia.
