Air Force leaders are seeking out the opinions, thoughts and concerns, both good and bad, of Airmen through the 2010 Air Force Climate Survey.

Those selected to participate in the survey have received an individual e-mail invitation with a Web link to the survey. Participants have until Nov. 28 to complete the survey.

"This is the only total force organizational climate survey of its kind," said Lt. Gen. William Rew, Air Combat Command vice commander, in an e-mail. "I personally encourage all ACC Airmen to take this important survey to provide your views on issues that affect the mission."

The survey, administered every two years, is designed to give commanders candid feedback from Airmen on issues that impact unit effectiveness. It is strictly voluntary and completely anonymous. Those who received an invitation to take the survey are strongly encouraged to participate in order to ensure Air Force leaders have accurate data, which they can use to make improvements to the work environment.

"We strongly encourage your active support to make this 2010 survey a success and help improve our Air Force," General Rew said in the e-mail.

After Air Force officials compile the results, they will be posted on the Air Force Portal. In the spring, unit leaders at all levels will receive a report about their sections.
