A best-selling financial author and speaker, who is familiar with the stresses and demands of military life, will share her experiences and offer guidance to members of the Seymour Johnson community Sept. 16 at Heritage Hall.

Ellie Kay, who is married to retired USAF fighter pilot Bob Kay, will discuss life as a military spouse and money management in two separate sessions on base. Mrs. Kay has written 14 books and has appeared on numerous financial news shows. Her columns have also appeared in Military Spouse Magazine.

At Seymour Johnson, she will discuss her book "Heroes at Home" and highlight practical ways to cope with deployment at the 1 p.m. session. During the 5 p.m. session, the mother of seven will share tips about smart ways to save, spend and share money from her latest book "Living Rich for Less."

The free event is open to the entire base; however, seats are limited. Following each presentation, Mrs. Kay will be on hand to talk with fans and sign books.

In addition, a limited number of slots for free child care are available during each session. To register a child for care no later than Sept. 13 or learn more about Mrs. Kay's visit, call Chap. (Maj.) Michael Myers at 722-0315. To learn more about Mrs. Kay, visit her Web site at www.elliekay.com.
