You can help DoD be more efficient

WASHINGTON, DC --  Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates is asking all Department of Defense military and civilian employees to submit their ideas to save money, avoid cost, reduce cycle time and increase the agility of the Department.

This contest, called the INVEST Awards, will reward those who submit the best ideas for improving efficiency with cash prizes.

Submit ideas at www.defense.gov/home/features/2010/0710_invest/ through Sept. 24. Program officials will announce the best 25 ideas in October.
