The 4th Fighter Wing Legal Office began offering expanded attorney appointments four days a week Aug. 16.

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday for customers to discuss a variety of concerns with a lawyer including the creation of a will or advance medical directives. Airmen, retirees and their dependants also may make an appointment to discuss topics such as family law, landlord/tenant issues, identity theft and other legal matters.

Customers can streamline their appointments by completing an online will or power of attorney worksheet before their appointment through the Air Force Legal Assistance Web site at https://aflegalassistance.law.af.mil. People who do this, will receive a ticket number from the Web site to bring to their appointment so a legal representative can retrieve their information. After their appointment at the legal office, customers should return to the Web site to complete a customer service survey.

In addition, the legal staff also offers walk-in services for powers of attorney and notarizations Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, call the legal office at 722-5322.
