4th CS launches CFP Published Aug. 9, 2010 By 4th Communications Squadron SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- In an effort to provide better service, the 4th Communications Squadron opened the Communications Focal Point Aug. 2. The CFP is the single focal point for reporting any type of communications issue including network problems, computer issues, telephone, air traffic control and landing system and radio outages, as well as making appointments to in/out process the base. Specialist at the CFP also provide one-stop service to customers with communication problems and requirements, log trouble calls in a tracking database and forward tickets to functional area support for resolution. The implementation of the CFP helps ensure a highly trained expert is assigned to each specific requirement, fixing issues quickly and efficiently, thus allowing customers to do their part to complete the 4th Fighter Wing mission.
