Sister-service compete in softball tournament

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  Women softball players from various bases across Virginia, North and South Carolina met up at the base fitness center softball field to determine which team had the best "game." The Eagles Grand Slam Jamboree Softball Tournament ran July 17 - 18.
 
Servicemembers from Virginia installations Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Fort Lee and Fort Belvoir; North Carolina's Camp Lejeune and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base,;and South Carolina's Shaw AFB and all came out to participate in the event.

By the end of the event team "All Kinds" from Ft. Belvoir and JBMYHH's "Lady Generals" competed for the tournament championship. The "Lady Generals" earned the victory with a final score of 7-3.
