Airmen on the base Honor Guard program serve as the face of the Air Force at events on and off-base.

Airmen selected to serve on the Honor Guard here must complete the Base Honor Guard Training Program to learn how to properly perform ceremonies. The program provides detailed instructions on key areas such as manuals, uniforms, history and traditions, and how to conduct a variety of ceremonies. After completing the two-week course, the Airmen are able to participate in official ceremonies. The end of the course, however, does not mean the Airmen's training has ended; they still complete daily drills to enhance their skills.

Airmen selected for the Base Honor Guard program must be of good reputation, integrity, ethical conduct and exhibit conduct and standards which merit respect both on and off duty. Airmen selected for the program serve as a team member for a year.

If you would like more information about the program, call Tech. Sgt. Stacey Hines at 722-7019.
