Ammo flight blows-up competition at Softball Tournament

The intramural softball season wrapped up at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base with a three game tournament here June 21. Airmen from various career fields gathered at the fitness center softball field to compete in the Eagles Grand Slam Jamboree Softball Tournament.

The final four teams included the 4th Maintenance Operations Squadron, 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron and two teams from the 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron representing the ammunition and aerospace ground equipment flights. Tournament games consisted of seven innings and had no time limit.

For the fourth year in a row, the 4th EMS's Ammunition team won the tournament. They captured first place by defeating the 4th LRS with a final score of 15 to 12.
