4th CMS keep engines running

The 4th Component Maintenance Squadron provides equipment maintenance support for more than 110 F-15E and C model aircraft assigned here and at Langley Air Force Base, Va. The fleet as a whole is worth more than $6 billion.

The Airmen perform avionics, electronic weapons, egress, pneudraulics, electro-environmental and fuel systems maintenance supporting worldwide peacetime and contingency operations. The 4th CMS contains three sections: jet engine intermediate maintenance, modular repair and secondary power. The squadron's Airmen are responsible for testing and repairing jet engines and other aircraft parts.
