SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Firefighters from the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron here sponsored a base car wash to raise money for Wayne Action Teams for Community Health on April 16. Patrons could stop by and receive a free car wash, though donations were highly encouraged.

A survey of the Wayne County community identified health risks, health needs, community assets, community resources and health goals.

WATCH is a program created to improve and educate the community on health and wellness issues. The four priorities of the organization are to provide access to care, promote healthy behaviors, prevent substance abuse and raise awareness about teen pregnancy.
