The goal for the Air Force in 2010 is to make energy a consideration in all we do.

From the President of the United States to every Airman, energy conservation is consistently recognized as crucial to continual mission accomplishment. Facilities that use less energy means more funds can go toward supporting equipment, training and development needs.

Funding, tied up paying bills, for drafty and inefficient buildings could be freed up for numerous other mission support goals. However, facility and energy managers cannot see everything.

This Earth Day, April 22, the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron would like to encourage everyone here to think about energy conservation and make suggestions to facility managers so together we can make energy a consideration in all we do.
