The dormitories on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., house single senior Airmen and below. Dormitory living helps provide Airmen a sense of responsibility and individuality, while at the same time introducing them to life on their own. All dorms are within walking distance of base amenities to include the fitness center, base exchange, dining facility and more. The dorms provide comfort and security to Airmen transitioning from technical school to full-time active duty.

Each of the base dormitories is three stories tall and has 72 rooms. Each dorm building has a first-floor weight room, second-floor kitchen and third-floor dayroom. The dormitories also have free laundry rooms conveniently located on each floor.

Single Airmen receive an opportunity to move off base with their leadership's permission when they have 35 months in service.
