The 4th Operations Support Squadron operations flight commander flew his final F-15E Strike Eagle mission from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., March 12.

Lt. Col. Jason Brenneman has been flying for more than 16 years.

Upon landing, Brenneman's daughters hosed him down before his fellow co-workers toasted him. This celebration is part of the Air Force tradition of commemorating a flyer's last flight at a base.

Brenneman said his most memorable experience in the Air Force was flying combat sorties in support of Operation Allied Force over Kosovo in 1999. Brenneman also said to him the most important aspect of the Air Force is the people and the quality and professionalism are unmatched in any other branch.
