Jerry Rogers Maintenance Professional of the Year Award Banquet took place here March 6 to recognize the best Airmen of the 4th Maintenance Group. The award is given to 10 Airmen throughout the 4th MXG who have made exceptional contributions to mission readiness throughout the year in their respective categories. Congratulations to the following 2009 Maintenance Professional of the Year award winners: Airman of the Year Senior Airman Antwon Vaughns, 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Noncommissioned Officer of the Year Tech. Sgt. Jason Landis, 4th Component Maintenance Squadron Senior NCO of the Year Master Sgt. Kenneth Rose, 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Company Grade Officer of the Year Capt. Michael Andrews, 4th AMXS Support Maintenance Airman of the Year Senior Airman Dewan Davis, 4th AMXS Support Airman of the Year Senior Airman Casandra Davis, 4th Maintenance Operations Squadron Support Maintenance NCO of the Year Tech. Sgt. Dominic Crow, 4th MOS Support NCO of the Year Tech. Sgt. Angel Brinchi, 4th AMXS Maintenance Flight of the Year 4th EMS Aerospace Ground Equipment Aircraft Maintenance Unit of the Year 335th Aircraft Maintenance Unit Award presentations were not the only event during the banquet, there were spoof videos, food and fun, said Tech. Sgt. Billy Pappas, 4th MXG executive assistant. "This year we had many of our Airmen tell stories about people and events that captured the true meaning of maintenance professionalism," he said. "It is extremely difficult to get (the 4th MXG) together as a group due to deployments, temporary duties, weekend duty and exercises. This is the one time of the year we can get a majority of us in the same building and reflect on Maintenance Group events from the past year."
