13 members of Team Seymour earn E-8 stripes Published March 4, 2010 By 4th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Air Force officials' selected 13 master sergeants from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base for promotion to senior master sergeant March 4. Across the force the officials selected 1,269 of 13,741 eligible master sergeants for promotion for a selection rate of 9.24 percent. The average selectee scored 665.85 points, had an average time in grade of 4.38 years and an average time in service of 20.2 years.
