U.S. Heritage of America Band performs in Goldsboro

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band presented the "Celebrating the Holidays Around the World" concert to the Airmen of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and the local community at Goldsboro High school, Dec. 7. The Heritage of America Band has a long history of entertaining the American public and promoting esprit de corps within the military. The unit strives to inspire the hearts and minds of the men and woman serving around the world, and to tell the Air Force story through music.

Consisting of several unique musical ensembles, the Heritage of America Band performs hundreds of concerts for more than one million people throughout a six-state region from Pennsylvania to South Carolina each year. The ensembles include the Heritage Aire Celtic, Dixie Players, Vector Brass, Heritage Brass Quintet and Satellite Jazz.
